When the test is useful
Allergy is an excessive immune reaction to substances in the environment that are usually harmless. Common airborne allergens include pollen, cat allergens, and dust mites.
According to available information, more than 2 million people in the Czech Republic suffer from some form of allergy, and the number of allergy sufferers continues to grow.
The Imutest Airborne test is suitable for indicative home assessment of sensitivity to airborne allergens, conveniently using a drop of blood taken from the fingertip.
The test may be appreciated by busy people, parents of young children, and anyone who wants a quick indicative overview of possible allergic sensitivity.
Symptoms for which the test may be useful
The most common symptoms of allergic conditions include:
- sneezing, itching, and nasal congestion,
- itchy and red eyes,
- eczema or hives,

Kit contents
The test kit contains:
- 1 sterile lancet for collecting a drop of blood from the finger,
- 1 blood collection tube,
- 1 bottle with detection solution,
- a test unit in a foil pouch with a desiccant sachet,
- instructions for use in English.
Important: The desiccant sachet must be yellow or light greenish-yellow. If it is green, the distributor or seller should be contacted.
Storage
The test kit should be stored and used at normal room temperature. If it has been stored at a much lower temperature, leave it unopened at room temperature for at least two hours before use.
