When the test is useful
Allergy is an inappropriate reaction of the immune system to otherwise harmless substances in the surrounding environment. When the body comes into contact with an allergen, it reacts defensively and releases histamine, which causes typical allergy symptoms.
Many allergy-like symptoms may also be related to other causes, such as food intolerance. Imutest Allergy Check is a clinically proven home test that measures the total level of IgE allergy antibodies in the blood and helps indicatively assess whether symptoms may be associated with a genuine allergic reaction.
The test is performed using a drop of blood taken from the fingertip, and the result is available in about 30 minutes at home.

Kit contents
The test kit contains:
  • 1 sterile lancet for pricking the finger,
  • 1 blood collection tube,
  • 1 bottle of developer solution,
  • a test unit in a foil pouch with a desiccant sachet,
  • instructions for use in English.
Important: The desiccant sachet must be yellow or pale greenish yellow. If it is green, contact the distributor or retailer.

Storage
