When the test is useful
Sexually transmitted infections are among the most widespread infectious diseases, and gonorrhea and chlamydial infection are among their most common causes. The Reagen Gonorrhea Chlamydia 2-in-1 Test enables qualitative detection of Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Chlamydia trachomatis antigens in one examination.
The test is intended for female cervical secretions and male urethral swabs. The result can be read in about 15 minutes and the assay serves as an auxiliary diagnostic tool.
The test is intended for professional in vitro diagnostic use. It should not be used as the sole basis for diagnosis, and both positive and negative findings must be interpreted together with the clinical picture.
The test is suitable for rapid screening of gonorrhea and chlamydia from cervical or urethral swabs.
  • When gonorrhea or chlamydial infection is suspected in women or men.
  • For discharge, burning during urination, cervicitis, urethritis or other urogenital symptoms.
  • For simultaneous assessment of two common sexually transmitted infections in one test.

Easy to use
  • The specimen is collected with a sterile swab from the cervix or urethra.
  • Add 8 drops of Sample Extraction Buffer A into the tube, then mix the specimen and leave it to react for 2 minutes.
  • Then add 8 drops of Sample Extraction Buffer B, mix again and remove the swab after 1 minute.
  • Apply 2 to 3 drops of the processed specimen to the test device.
  • Read the result at 15 minutes; do not interpret after 20 minutes.
Warning: The test is intended for professional use; if clinical symptoms persist, additional testing by another method is recommended even after a negative result.
