When the test is useful
Helicobacter pylori is among the most common infections and, according to the supplied text, is present in approximately 50% of the human population. H. pylori infection is an important factor associated with dyspeptic syndrome, gastric and duodenal ulcers, stomach cancer, and MALT lymphoma.
The Sensitest stool test for Helicobacter pylori is a rapid, non-invasive, and easy-to-use home test for detecting active H. pylori infection. It can also be used to monitor treatment effectiveness and to provide indicative confirmation after antibiotic therapy.
Testing is performed as a standard stool sample collection and the result is available in 15 minutes in the comfort of home.
